Humans. Homo Sapiens (Wise Man). A species that appeared more than 7 million years ago. Evolved from Apes and are still evolving. Currently there are more than more than 7.9 billion of us, here. Eating, Sleeping, Working, Studying, Wondering; Living. Genetically each and every person that lives or has ever lived, has a different DNA combination, a unique set of genes, which in turn leads to the diversity between organisms of same species. But do you ever wonder that despite of all the differences that we have; be it our race, caste, religion, gender, nationality; what is the one thing that unifies us? I  think its our ability to feel things. How? Well, you see, humans are the only species that are self-conscious. Sadly, in this fast-paced and dynamic world, we hardly have the time to take a pause. Its something that that is very important when it comes to self-awareness. When we take that pause, we start to reflect, to observe, the world around and within us. And when we do that, we realize that despite of all our differences, we're all alike, in ways we cannot even comprehend. We think that we're the only ones going through a crisis, but we're mistaken. The Popular Girl and the quiet guy both have their own problems. There's a high chance the your next door neighbors who always brag about their recent trip to an island, might end up feeling like one. The celebrities who appear to be living a luxurious life, may not want that at all. The point is, we never really know the Behind-The-Scenes of a person's life. We think they're so lucky and envy them. but each and every person has a life that is as vivid and complex as ours( There's a term for that- Sonder). We're in this together and if that's the case, then why not help each other? support each other? Instead of running and hiding, why not confront what's bothering us? Instead of avoiding talking to a person, why don't we share our concerns and have a healthy conversation? After all, we're fighting the same war. We're on the same side. All of us. So fellow mates, technically I don't know you. I don't know your name, I don't know your age, I don't know where you're from, basically, I don't have the slightest clue of who you are. I may not know you, but I know how you feel. and I think that at some point in life, one way or the other, we can relate to each other, know how others feel. So if you think about it, in a way, we all know each other. We're all KNOWN-STRANGERS.
